  • Über das Werk: Distinct and surprising urban spaces give this quarter for the waterfront city of Spandau its own urban character. The row development, with alternating street and garden spaces, allows sunlight and water views for almost all flats. The outdoor spaces contrast with each other through varying proportions and the treatment of the façades: street façades are solid and vertical, while garden façades are glassy and horizontal. In this way, private and public spheres can be experienced through space and material.
