- Tobias Zielony (born 1973 in Wuppertal) is a German photographer and video artist living in Berlin. In 2015, Zielony represented the country at the Venice Biennale with his work The Citizen in cooperation with refugee activists in Germany and a number of African media outlets. In 2021 he had a retrospective at the Museum Folkwang. In 2023 his 9th monograph Wolfen was published by Spector Books, Leipzig. Since 2022 Tobias Zielony is professor for photography at HFBK Hamburg.
